HDMI to Composite Video Converter

While high-definition video is always preferred over that of the lower-resolution offerings of standard definition devices, there are times when you need to downgrade your HDMI® signal for use on analog Composite or S-Video system. When that time comes, you need to have this adapter from Bargainhopping!

The adapter takes an HDMI® input signal at the rated resolutions (see Specifications page) and converts it to a standard definition Composite or S-Video signal. It features a gold-plated HDMI® connector for input and a S-Video, Composite Video RCA, and analog Stereo audio RCA connectors for output. A 5 VDC AC adapter is included to supply the required power.

Note that this device cannot output both S-Video and Composite video at the same time. One or the other output type must be selected with the CVBS/S-Video switch.
